Guys,
You can actually knock the locating pins out from the other side and turn them down!

As per everyone else if they get loose thats what your cars going to do.
Make sure you check them every now and then.

I hate lowering blocks but I suppose they are cheap in leiu of retensioning springs.

Regards Greg

I have a four day long weekend so here are my plans:

Friday:
- take lowering blocks off and slide U-Bolts under the brake line this time
- add some transmission fluid and see if the noise goes away

Saturday:
- if noise persists and fluid doesnt help take it too a mechanic
- remove grill and add black mesh

Sunday:
- If all is good im going on a car cruise on my L's

You may all be wondering why I am removing the grill. I have been playing around with Idea's and looking at some of the cool American Kustoms that I like, they look sharp and not too ratty.
A friend showed me a photoshop job he did for another guy (flat black with orange candy roof).

i like the scallops so i am considering that, it also looks a lot better without the grill but I would add these little crosses in for something different

i also like this colour scheme, its a lightish green (not as harsh as the current green) It also has a nice pearl white roof which you cant see.

I also will get dress rings for the wheels, and flappers instead of narrowbands. If the scallops arent too big i think it will look great. Will be unique.

Hey J,the green with a white roof would look great i reckon. There is a 2005 model Honda colour which is very similar to the one pictured.Ive seen a rod done in Rod and Kulture mag with a flattening agent in the clear and it looks wicked. Then again,it looks great as it is! Cool car

Its weird - I thought it would have sold in 5 minutes flat-the car as you see it in this post was in top condition. It has really good bones for either a resto or a modified and the price seems good to me. :?

Just a quick safety note.....after using a grinding disc on aluminum, best to throw them out, heard a lot of stories of discs that have been used on AL shattering when used on steel afterwards...(weird but seems to happen a bit)...

Cars looking good!
