mmmmmm.................. probably not too long before she hits the strip after today "tuning session" . Been a very slow process having to tune without easy access to a Dyno, but after todays adjustments and a test run the only comment from the "Minister for War & Finance" was THAT'S ENOUGH!!!! THAT'S ENOUGH!! BACK OFF OR I'M LEAVING YOU!!! :P   :D        And I was just starting to have fun...... mind you, it was a little bit touchy on the throttle but VERY happy with the results! 8) 8)

Hi guys,
Been playing with a few ideas, not sure what to do and would appretiate your opinions:
Should the bonnet stay as it was or cut it and let the injection stacks stick their heads out???????

Id have the stacks exposed in a heartbeat .
Rear stack level with the bonnet and tapering up towards the front......niiiiiice , F this car is tough...

By the way , your shed looks rediculous all clean and tidy like that , cant you rub some dirt around and leave out a few unfinished adventures :P

I can see merit in both Gaz. Get yourself another bonnet and try out the stacks. If you don't like it I would think it's relatively easy to go back to what it was. Personally, I always thought injector or Weber carb trumpets look awesome...

I'm with Trev, like the bonnet without the stacks, but the idea of getting another bonnet and trying it with the open stacks is a good thought.

That is exactly how I feel J, I have some mates saying I should do it and others that say leave it. There is no doubt that is looks tuff with the stacks hanging out but it's sort of like seeing a realy hot woman naked........nothing left to the imagination and no "surprises"!

What I do like about the current setup is that to the "untrained" eye it looks like it could be stock other than the wheels and the twin exhaust.

If you are in two minds about it Gaz, then don't touch it. If it keeps niggling at you, get another bonnet and try it out, don't cut up the one you have.

I have always been in two minds about getting a flashline flash kit for my car. They look great but over the years I have seen the damage done to so many cars from the electrolysis reaction between the aluminium flash strips and the steel body, so I have never bought one...
