in need of extractors for the 253 in the fb.rather try for type that doesnt go through the inner gaurds.any info greatly received :) cheers shane. :)

The only V8 into FB/EK extractors that don't go through the guards that I've seen have been custom made Shane, Trev 8) .

thanks for that trev :( i will have to see if any body has a second hand pair of the others then.trying to get the old girl ready 4 the nationals :)

Instead of getting something you don't really want, just use some stock manifolds for the Nationals and then get what you want when you have the time, Trev 8) .

Yep, No one makes these.. I had to make mine... If your interested I may be able to make more but there is a fair amount of work involved.. Send me a pm, I can give ya some tips if you decided to make your own.

I was speaking to Mick ( ratbox ) a while back and I think ( hope I recall the conversation correct ) he said that he able to was use the standard 253/308 cast iron manifolds in one of his Ratbox V8 Conversions Pty Ltd projects in an EK ??.

Shane, are you able to lift the engine mounts a bit higher to enable them to allow clearance for the shaft?

Suppose you've probably already thought of that though..............

Just a thought................

we made our own but this was on the EFI heads care of V8EK4US idea.
There is a hell ofa lotta work involved but they look the goods when finished.
