Rear Suspension rubbers

Post by Alastair Saxton »

Hi
I am needing to replace suspension rubbers on my aging Holden fleet. Spring shackles and most importantly HR Spring Pads (between axil and spring). Looked on web at Rare Spares. Are they good quality? Are they expensive compared to others? What other companies would provide similar parts possibly at better prices?
The exchange rate is nearly 7 of our SOuth African Rands to 1 Au Dollor. So prices in our money are mighty crippeling to pay!!!
Any advice please!

Could you take them out and have them copied and custom made? Surely there is a company in South Africa that could do this?
Otherwise, move to Australia, problem solved! :D You know about old Holdens, cricket and rugby so you're halfway to being an Aussie anyway... ;)

Fulcrum suspensions make a lot of polyerethane suspension parts but they aren't cheap though

Have a look here http://www.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

Thanks for advice guys,
Edna Blueflash I have asked about remanufacturing here and it works out even more expensive than importing. By the way I tried to move to OZ and they didn't want me!!That was years ago. Never watch cricket or rugby, maybe thats why my application was rejected.
Theo I looked at the e-bay link. Thanks. I have never bought on e-bay before so will have to "upgrade" my way of thinking.
