Post by Trev »

At the moment I plan to leave on Thursday 11th staying in Junee thursday night, then on to Narrandera on Friday.
Monday I plan to go to Ulladulla for the night, then head down the coast home again, probably stopping for a night at Lakes entrance.

What are you plans? Trev 8) .

The plan :? :? ....... the plan is to finish the Teardrop camper to tow behind the Black Beast so we can camp in it along the way at roadside stops rather than staying in Motels and leaving the EK outside for the wellwishers to strip  . Added bonus is that if some clown decides to steal the Black Beast at least we will know where it is....and they wont get far on one tank of fuel!

So we will hook up the Teardrop (hopefully) and leave Darwin (with possibly the only TearDrop camper in existance with a 150lt fuel tank   ) on Saturday morning and camp at Banka Banka Station (great spot with old FE FC FB EK and chev wrecks out the back in the hills, will get some pics this time   ).
Sunday - Banka Banka to Kulgera (70km past the turn off to Ayres Rock).
Monday - Kulgera to Woomera
Tuesday - Woomera to Mildura and spend some time with some great friends there.......
Meet up with Thommo and Crew from Adelaide and hopefully some of the WA guys then cruise on to Narranderra in a convoy full of class (and AA candidates)!!

:D :D :D :D :D

Leaving late Thursday arvo after work, make our way to Cobram on the border and staying there for the night. Next morning head for Narrandera, should be there around lunch-early arvo.

Coming home it will be just one trip, leave Narrandera early Monday morning and just keep driving till we get home, gotta work Tuesday, bummer

Dave.
I'd rather drive something made of metal, not plastic!

nationals 2010 trip plans

Post by igor »

Morning!
We are leaving Wednesday morning staying Echuca Wednesday night, then on to Narrandera Thursday, allowing us to do some sightseeing before the nationals. We have at this stage 2 other cars travelling with us from "the Mount", 1 having been for the first time last year and the other has just recently parked their monaro in the shed, to become a ek holden wagon owner and will be attending a nationals for the very first time, so very much a new adventure for them. The return trip maybe in one day but have the option of 2. (It is only 750k's this year for us so a day trip home is a fairly comfortable trip if we decide to do so).
looking very much forward to catching up with everyone again.
cheers
Lesley and Roger

Probably gonna meet up with the croweaters and convoy across the rest of the way , not too sure on the return trip as yet - the bride wants to go to Melbourne for a few days so might head down there with whoever is going that way.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Plan is...

Hook up Rosie the plywood vintage van on thursday before i go to work on arvo shift.
Hope to get away early Friday morning..or..... if i am really excited i might do a few hours driving after work (11.00pm) and get down passed sydney before stopping for a snooze.
Plan to go via...
F3 to Sydney
M2 and M7 across and around Sydney ( no traffic lights 8) 8) 8) )
Hume Highway to Gundagai
Hang a right across through Junee... Coolamon .. and on into Narrandera.
about 9 or 10 hours

Good roads, plenty of overtaking lanes for the tear arses that cant sit on the speed limits..... and if i do leave at daylight i will be going against the morning peak hour traffic.getting around sydney.
Just recieved my invitation / confirmation for the nats.

Reddo... aka... entrant No:3 8)

At time of writing we are planning a week in Darwin prior to the nats, flying in and out of Sydney. Will most likely return to Sydney on Thursday, then leave for Narranderra at our own leisure Friday morning.
