Thats got some interesting parts on it Steve.

What is that piece mounted on the firewall with the copper plumbing?
What does that cylinder mounted on the drivers inner fender do. is it a vacuum canister?
And I have not seen fold down door pull handles before either.

I have one of the braces that hold the insulation to the underside of the bonnet here at home,
its another thing you dont see to many of.

I like the ol' cupboard knob on the glovebox, mine could do with one of those,
bloody thing never operates properly no matter how much i adjust it

 Have seen similar on older cars,

Looks to be a vacuum tank and controller for vacuum brakes on a trailer or caravan and the tank may,or may not, be hooked up to assist the vacuum wipers to work better and longer whist going up a hill when engine vacuum supply is low.

 Thats my guess??
Have a old bondy caravan here with an old PBR vacuum master on the drawbar which would have originally used a vacuum system.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

This one is red and the colour matches the other metal interior trim exactly......so this proves my theory on the matter - If you wanted it red and were prepared to pay you got one red :D
ahh the good ol' days where you could tell the dealer what you wanted on yor car and got it if it was available

I simply have to pass the comment that I reckon my love of FB's comes from my Grandmothers FB Sedan in that very same combo, except it had the grey interior.

If memory serves correctly the rego was HCW-035 (Victorian) I was about 7 or 8 when she got rid of it for a Corolla and I still think she did the wrong thing.

What a great colour combo.
