Grey Motor Carby ID

Post by parisian62 »

Hi everyone,

I have 3 grey motor carbies with the following numbers:

23 - 3001 Z
23 - 3001 N
23 - 3000 B

does anyone know if the numbers refer to a particular grey motor or even a grey setup with hydramatic?

Umpires decision on this one might have to go to someone else on this one.I've never gone into carb ID's other than BXUV1 ( grey motor ) on the throttle body and BXUV2 on the throttle body for red motor and venturi diameter on the main body to ID engine size fitment.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

I just look for the 1 1/32 to make sure it's a grey carb :?

I know that they designate different carby's (ie Auto and Manual) but don't know the numbers either. If someone picks the one on my car being wrong they need to get another hobby :P
you know they are out there though tim
