Victorian Hot Rod Show 2010

Post by Devilrod »

Went in on the Sunday and boy was it busy!!! Took over an hour to get a park out front. The show opened at 10am and we got there 15 minutes after it opened yet it took an hour to park! Well worth it, here's some pics. Harko note the few centre line equipped cars

Yes and no, it was parked where the Van council always have a van or two. Surprisingly no Bedfords this year just the Tojo. Which actually impressed me a little, very well built and surprisingly restrained. Plus having PLASTRD as a number plate would make it a great pub bus   Maybe I'm just a little twisted :|

But the show was great and had a bit of something for everyone.

We came down to Carlton on Saturday for a look, was plenty of Old Holds down there but nothing of the FB/EK variety :( I did happen to spot a red EK wagon heading north on the Calder, anyone know who it was?

It was well worth the drive- certainly made me feel better about not making it to Summernats. I thought it was nice to see a show devoid of Commodores... Somehow, they still managed to sneak a few in!

Now that I know there's a lowrider bike section, I'll have to bring mine down next year!

I think
ratbox nailed it - the windscreen and interior looks way out of place - maybe its a Camaro version of a 789 Chev like the one in the pics ? Didnt know there was any of them in Australia - they were something like $125k USD new
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
