Hey ratbox your no f@#king around approach to building your cars is inspiring . Got out over the weekend and got a heap done on my van .
Can't wait to see your van in paint .
Cheers
Sam
Grimbo glad i can assist, but like i posted earlier i'm not working at the moment so time is on my side, and also my philosaphy is spend time where it counts (the parts you can see) but make sure it's safe if you saw under my bonnet
Now that looks the goods.
Can't wait to get mine in colour. Is that primer tinted with colour, or colour with flattner, if so how much flattner?
And who's is the truck cab in the background and what's happening with that? Is it for sale?
Cheers Sam
i have done shinny paint but they're not great, i'm to impatient and can't handle all the rubbing involved, but i'm quite happy with flat paint and it probably gets just as much attention with alot less hassle
grimbo it's acrylic with flattener it's about 10%
it's an old bedford cab it's just there for future reference i'm looking for '38/'39 chev front panels for it as the bedford ones are very ugly don't know if i want to sell it as i haven't really thought about it
Ratbox,
i'm sure you'll be easily found at the nationals.
On a serious note it's a big improvement on what you started with. Are you going to do anymore customisation ?

mark, it's a bit darker than the ute but i'm sure there's some of that paint in there somewhere i had an FC in flat purple and an A model roadster pickup also the same colour, it's starting to become a habit
