man you guys are lucky to have that in your back yard . ive got some photos around here some where from the early 80s with a grave yard up the north end of the island .the area used to be the local dumping ground for cars and had so many in the bush the council brought in a car crusher from the big island and crushed the lot i can still picture one custom line and a fx holden under a bunch of others . some of them would be restorable concidering how rare they are now .dam council clean ups .

Just contacted the owner & he won't sell - he's going to restore them one day.

My Dad found this a while ago and I had it posted under the heading "So cruel" because for weeks Dad had been telling me about a ek sedan that wasn't too bad and he asked the owner about it and he said I could have it! when I finally got up there this is what we found

That may have been the one they smashed up in one of the episodes.

The actual car used in the series is this one.

It's a shame when you see cars just rotting away in some paddock, like in those earlier photo's

The bottom car ( the good one ) was sold to a girl who worked on the set of McLeods Daughters after its part in the show was finished. It didn't have an FB motor ( EJ from memory ) so her father contacted me to get an FB motor and I found a good FB motor here to go in it and I guess its the one currently in the car now.He was rebuilding the car as it was a little bit tired, that was about 3 years ago so I guess he got it finished as per the pics.

The other car used in the scene where it hit the other ute was, so I'm told by her father , a pretty well rusted out car that was prettied up enough to run and drive for it's inevitable demise    .
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

The smashed one appears to be Satellite Yellow. The other FB is Fernando.
