Timmy's EK

Post by Timmy »

Hi, you may remember the Seaforth Green and Snowcrest White EK I bought from GT back in feb. Well since then I've had all the Chrome redone, stainless polished. all the running gear finished and the upholstery is being done at the moment. Just recently I decided to put a few more coats of paint on her whilst everything was off it. The paint on it already was ok but just a little thin in spots. With the whole car painted, excluding the top of the dash, a mate of mine who sprayed it and I decided to cut and polish the roof. Here's the result, the pics really do it no justice.

Hi guys, here is some new pics of this weekends work. Finally painted the top of the dash back to Clinker Grey as well as the engine bay and inner guards as they had mistakenly been painted black by the previous owner. Also gave the wheels another spray so they matched the Snowcrest White Roof as the white that was on them was incorrect.

Well since the last time, I've reprayed the engine bay, hooked her all back up, painted and put the steering column back in, wired up and assembled the dash, and all the running gear is ready for the road. Here is a few pics my wife snapped of me giving the car a test drive in the paddock, as you can see I have a lot of sanding ahead of me to get that new acrylic paint nice and flat.

I'll post some photos of the dash and engine bay soon. should have it all cut and polished and the new chrome on my Xmas....hopefully.
