it never ends, does it.

so now ive got her home, the rotor is hacking the inside of the dizzy cap up. you can hear it squeaking.

its never done this before, so WHY NOW???

ok, good to know where that is coming from.

now 2 questions - why is the dust grey when the cap is red, and how do I fix it?

Something loose, broken or bent inside the dissy.

Simple solution and easiest.
Replace the dissy with another one.

Otherwise, pull it apart, find and replace/fit whatever is wrong.
Bottom springs, plate, clips, cap, could be lots of parts. :cry: :cry:
