FB/EK Radiator wanted

Post by reddo »

Wanted:

A good clean ..
Maybe even recored, N.O.S, or recently serviced, pressure tested and flushed radiator.

I dont want something that has just been yanked out of a car....
I already have three "dud" radiators on the floor of the shed at the moment.

I have an EH 179 radiator that will tidy up OK and is will easily fit .....but dont want to drill any Holes in the apron panels on the Blue and white FB sedan.

True Trev... true.
Wouldnt it be nice to line one of the forum members pockets with the bucks than a radiator reconditioner. ???

Just thought that i would try here first in case someone had done one up and then abandoned a project. ... or repowered with a bigger engine etc and hence used a different/ bigger radiator .........maybe had a good one that they where willing to sell.

I realise that i would be better off with a recoed one if it means paying a squillion dollars for freight to Newcastle......
But ya never know whats local unless ya ask...

Hi ya Fatboy.
I gave the local bloke a HR rad to flush and test. It came up good... $50 cash.
Its in the Honey Beige Panelvan now and all is coooooooooooool.

I have given him 3 FB/EK and 1 EH radiator to check out for the blue and white FB sedan and all have been crap.

Got a pm yesterday from a member..... might be on to a good one.
