Funny how the Walkinshaw's had dropped to about 25 grand about 10 years back. Now you see them nudging the 100 grand mark.

Same with the Brock cars. A mate sold his VK Group 3 about 5 years back for 17 grand. The same car sold a few months back for 65 grand
Hearing you Cal!!
I am not saying that (as a rule) the VE GTS is lame...... just after driving an EK with 500+ is feels lame (in a straight line!!)...... mind you I wouldn't attempt the same corners I've done in the GTS with the EK............. may not be able to post the results
I also had a group 3 (still kicking myself for selling it!!) I'll scan the picks and post 'em up.

My mate Walkie is insured for well over 100K    so they are defiantely pullin' the big bucks now!!

We drove past a wedding brigade a few years age, coming home from Seven Hills. Driving along the M7.

There would of been at least 12 Brock Formula Blue VK's. Looked fantastic.
Must of been the Presidents wedding of the Brock VK club

Anyway, Gary! Nice looking shots of the EK near the water, like every said pity there was a late model Holden amongst it.
Looks very pretty with the lace head bow...........................I can see that vehicle being used a lot more than once for that purpose.

Regards John

Yeh Andy the Bride was in the Beast (by choice) and your right Thommo she wasn't late (well we timed it to be "fashionably late" by going for a cruise   )
Harko, I don't think we could do anything to make the Commodore "fit in"    .

Thanks Mick, I feel the same ..........

No probs, the front guards have 20 x 20 mm rhs welded inside behind the chrome trim, I rolled it 20mm before fitting, this has "pumped" the guard subtly and given the additional clearance required to drop it so

Here is a pic when I did a trial run on an old guard to see if it would work:

:D
that is a very cool mod 8)

Hey Garry, sorry to change the subject but what did you end up doing for a steering column shroud?
I have the commodore column and want to try and keep the old skool look if I can.

At the moment I have modified the VN shroud (extended and reshaped) which looks ok, the plan is to make one out of alloy and polish it....... oneday
