This is hopefully an easy answer as it seems a lot of people have done it...
Do HT/G 14" steelies fit on the standard EK with no rubbing, fouling of guards etc?
What would be the widest you could fit under them ie. 6, 7, 8 inch?
Would there be any problems when the car is eventually swapped to an HR front end?
the wagon i have has a 14" standard HT/G wheel on it no problems, i'm pretty sure standard HK wheels fowl the king pins, and i think the standard HT/G wheels are a problem with the HR front but not 100% sure
I reckon I'll get a full set of HT/G 14 inchers then as I'm still running the kingpin front end.
When I do eventually change to HR front, is there a way of getting around the clearance issues with the 14 inchers? - or do you just have to choose different wheels?
I just fitted some 14 x 5 HT rims today with 195 tyres, i have about 2 mm clearance from the standard kingpin- Im not 100% but the negative offset seems to be bigger on the HT rims then the original 13s. If I drop my tyre pressure it looks like I might run into trouble.

I run the same rims, just get the offset changed, if you dont know how much just tell the wheel place thier for a HR disc front, they should know what thier doing.
I have 5" front and 6" rear, but I think you could go 7" rear with no probs, I have a mate with 8" rears and they are a real snug fit, Trev .

I run HT steelies on both my cars, The sedan is stock running gear and has no issues, The Wagoon runs Hr front with HT Monaro Rotors and calipers and has no issues with hitting anything, But I had to change my 195/75/14's to 185/60/14's so I could clear the front guards, Now I have no scrubbing issues. OH and its lowered 3 inches all round!
