If everyone liked and wanted a "Flashline" kit then we would be in big trouble 'cause there aren't that many "spare" ones around .
I like it, Sue and our sons like it and it's all good............ and it's a Holden just like the EH (without the "Flashline Kit" ), not a bloody Fraud HPaddict!!

Had an EH once....and a HQ coupe ..... HJ tonner .......fingers getting cramps maybe I will have to dig out the old pics and scan them so I can post 'em in "other cars" (one day )

I used a bench grinder with Josco buff wheels and the Josco compounds..... there are 3 main ones I used:
Grey: for rough cut - removing scratches
Light green: for high polish on stainless steel etc.
White: for high polish on aluminium, diecast and other alloys. They are readily available from Mitre-10, Bunnings etc...........

These are the wheels, you need 2, one is stitched for rough cut (left side) and the other is loose soft wheel (right side) for high polish:

Wish I read this before I did mine, paid $80 for mine to be done at a metal polishing plant. Come up good though.

Hey V8EK4US did you do the hoodlining yourself?

It Looks great, have you got some tips on how to put it in?
I bought mine from Evilbay and was unsure where to start for fear of stuffing it up.
