i fitted mine recently, i tested it, it worked, i cleaned it up, spent heaps of time prepping it with a wire wheel ant sandpaper, prepsoled it, gave it a light coat of 2k epoxy primer them painted it 2k black, bought some chrome bolts to finish it of, tested it again and bolted it on, wired it up, then the other night i thought i would put the fuse in and give it a go but there was nothing, i ended up unwrapping half my wire harness.
it turned out the horn after all these years decided to pass away while it was sitting on the car waiting for the fuse to be fitted.

Don't you just hate it when that happens. If you had just stuck it in, it would probably go forever.FCCOOL wrote: it turned out the horn after all these years decided to pass away while it was sitting on the car waiting for the fuse to be fitted.

My one on the FB, I unbolted and took apart, take out the metal diaphragm in it and put it to one side, give the ouside a clean up.
I sand blasted mine with one of those cheap sandblasters from supercheap on low pressure, took the paint off nicely then bolted it back together
If you wind the adjuster screw off a bit (takes tension of the diaphragm) and test it on a car that the original horn works on then you can determine if its your horn or the wiring, also check your fuse is ok.
Hope that make sense
You might be able to make a good one out of all three
