Dandenong Valley Holden Street Car Show (NOW WITH PHOTOS)

Post by mrsdakam »

Hi all
just saw this in our local paper (the journal)
we are going to go and have a look. It would be nice to see some nice old cars, not just the new ones. As it said in the paper, it is aimed at the responsible "revheads", are FB and EK drivers responsible revheads???????????

Went to the 1st ever Dandenong Holden car show this arvo. Poor turn out, only about 15 - 20 cars were there. Beautiful day for it, it was a bit dissapointing. Not to say the cars were dissapointing, there were some really nice cars. Hope You enjoy the photos........

This Prem was for sale, really clean car. Couldnt find the owner to get a figure. If anyones interested the numbers are... 9783 4780. Mob...0420721637.

This was an ultra clean EK. I saw the owner and i thought i knew him from somewhere, but i couldnt remember. MRSDAKAM said it was Jason, a guy who used to live across the road from my inlaws place. I remember that car when he first got it, he offered it to me for $1500 about 10 years ago. Looks a BIT better now though......

That EK sure is nice.

Makes me want to fork out for some of those outer wheel trims.

Geeezzzz us - that premier for sale is eye candy to me :) :) :)
The only reason for time is so everything dosen't happen at once.
If Macca's home delivered there'd be one less drunk on the road.

I Hate those please dont touch signs,I took a car to a few shows and would almost invite people to have a sit ,touch, poke they(the general show going public) would be amazed.Dont we build these cars for everyone to enjoy?I am not going to build one car and keep it for the rest of my life, the way I see it we take ownership (especially with an old FB-EK)thinking that it will be forever ,but the day comes when they move on,and on,and on,and on,and on,and on and on.What Im saying is that we own these cars for a part of Their life as well as a part of ours.Thankfully theres a site like this for all who are trying to save the model , much like a doctor for you and me .My point being dont be doush-bags with your ride if you see a keen young dude eyeing off youre machine tell them to TOUCH ,cheers Jase
