The car is looking fantastic mate. cant wait to see it sitting on the ground all tarted up.

Awesome job, as the others have said it will be sad to not have this build to follow. You'll just have to start something new for us to follow......

Holly shit, this idea of using the VN SS wiring loom is a challenge with all it's "extra wires", I am starting to think that it would have been much easier to buy a universal loom!!

This is what I started with, surgically removed from the VN

:

This is what I don't need (Well, I think I don't need these bits.......basically all the electronic trans controls, links from one thing to another to make the stock ECU let the motor start etc...) I have kept a few additional wires to run to the Trans Brake etc......

I put this mounting plate in before paint, it was done to mount electricals to without having anything showing through the firewall, helps keep the engine bay neater:

I have connected a battery to the loom and tested the "Vital Stats" to see if she has a heart beat at the end of each wire just incase I have to take it all out again

, I have power to indicators, lights, ignition, EFI ECU power, Fuel pumps, boot light, etc......... all feeding in the right spots through the VN SS ignition switch and accessory switches...BLOODY BONUS, more than I thought I would have after the cut and shut

Fitted a door latch and thought it was a tad average, so I spent 15 minutes on the buff which helped:

Don't worry about the besser blocks MJ, the car is hanging on the rotisserie the blocks and stands are only for added stability while I get in and out...in and out....in and out.... actually, talking about in and out.... I better get out of here and back in the shed

Love the RED dash lighting!!

I read somewhere that red lights are good for your eyes at night (good for night vision)...Plus red 'n' black are CCCCOOOOOOLLLL!

Bendigo better be ready for this arrival.
