Hi Dave,
don't have a spare one - although people tell me there's a loose one behind the wheel of my car......

Original statement deleted and correction made....

(edtied below to correct mistake)

The nut is flat both sides and has a shell lock nut.... thread size is 1/2" UNF

frats,
Rosco

interesting Dave,
just going out to the shed now to pop the horn button again....

I wonder - have you had a replacement steering box put in yours?

OOps....... read this - the nut is different thread from a wheel nut - the steering nut thread is 1/2" UNF - do NOT try to force a wheel nut on - please, hope this got to you before doing so.......

This thread is up in two places - my reply didn't come up in the other one....

frats,
Rosco

Anyone watching this - the thread size is DEFINITELY different - please do not force a wheel nut onto the steering shaft.......

and...

Have posted pics on the "parts wanted - steering wheel nut" post by Dave....

sorry for wrong info - socket size, however is the same..... 3/4"

Rosco
