Speaker In Dash

Hey everyone starting to do the stereo set up for the ute, cd players done now onto speakers...... the aim is to have 6X9's

Can any modern day speakers fit into teh original speaker in the dash in terms of size and magnet height as i would like to place one there and one under the dash

Any ideas suggestions brands and photos would be appreciated

I made up a pannel and fitted 2 4inch speakers in there
I dont think you would fit anything bigger, as a pair anyway

Try Jaycar (www.jaycar.com.au) they seem to have a wide variety of speakers.

I know J tried a 6 x 9 and failed and opted for a 6 inch round.
i'm going for 2 x 4 inch as i want to hear both left and right channels and don't have a mono function on the deck.
