Here is my Ek sedan which I have had for 5 years.

The first 2 & 1/2 years brought much enjoyment but in a fierce February rain storm, the old anchors didn't cut it on a partially flooded road, putting the front end square into the rear of a falcon ute.

So, after too long sitting idle in the garage, it's time to bring old Bessie back to her former glory. I'll post an update pic every so often as she nears her return to the road.

A tray with a tow bar is nasty :evil:

Thanks for the words of encouragement everyone..

The ute was a standard XG (no tray), probably sitting a bit higher at the back. The EK was also sitting a bit lower and under braking, the bumper went straight under the tailgate etc, leaving the headlight and surrounding guard to absorb the impact. There was a tow bar... The grill copped that one. :roll:
