Hey Matty,

Looking 8)

Decided on what lenses you will run yet? I think all clear lenses could potentially look very 8)

cheers,
Andrew

Nice stuff Matty !!

I rang Alan's shop today actually, as I need to do the exact same shit for the sedan. A lady I spoke to mentioned the stuff for your wagon ! Good to know I can get the chroming all done thru the same place even if he does send it away !!!

How much did the stainless set ya back mate ?

Good stuff Matty,

Its on the down hill run now, just keep it going.
Must be about time for some more update pickies.

I must admit I'm still all FB'd out and haven't done any more on the new EK.

Just going through that stage of couldn't be bothered, and gardening.

Your car will look fantastic when finished and you won't be able to stop driving it around. Not to mention getting the smile off your face.

ok,

retro/craig, no the plastic covers were thrown in for free... bargain!!!

nomad, subframe?????? what subframe... are you talking about the one i needed about 6 months ago... if so, no need to stress, brown bear (matt) had one for me...

A'mod, nah but i have them all so, i can can swap them when ever i decide to run a different look...

meph' hey mate, yeah... their all really helpfull in there, not cheap but you pay for what you get... i'll try & find the receipt if you remind me in about a week as i'm in the middle of moving at the moment & shit is everywhere...

hey mal, i thought as much... "I must admit I'm still all FB'd out and haven't done any more on the new EK"... mate the pics will be coming probably over the next couple of weeks...

but i got some badish news & rod the mechanic isn't ready for the car yet, so the car will go back to my grandma's place till rod is ready...

but it will give me a good chance to have a findle, with little things... chrome, dash, interior etc...

ps anyone know where to get good cheap shelving systems (i'm not allowed to drill the walls, so free standing) for my grandma's garage from, i was thinking bunnings

thanks

Id look at this as an opportunity Matty , go find some crates or solid plastic boxes (I found mine at bunnings for 8$ each ,now 14$) get some lengths of steel in bulk (The uprights can be chassis kit RHS with whats left over ) borrow a welder and learn to weld
Your shelving will be solid ,handle anything and look extremely neat ,and most of all you will be proud because you did it and they were cheaper.

Matty, by the end of October I will have replaced all the shelving in my Supermarket. If you want some let me know. Each bay is 1800 long by 2200 high and will come with 4 shelves. For $100 a bay you won't find anything stronger-only prob is you gotta come get 'em.

Matty your crazy,
I told the missus when we moved from our rented place to buying a house that I would only agree if the house had a big shed already (at least a double to fit the cars and a workshop) or at least the empty space where if it didn't have a shed I could build one. I ended up finding one that had the empty space to do it so we bought it, cut down a tree and started building. For you environmentalists out there (I am one ) the tree that we cut down was a Morton bay fig, which the pest inspector and the building inspector told us and I quote " Get rid of that before it pulls your house down". Picture those big trees that you see in parks that have the massive root system. Luckily ours was just a baby.
