Adelaide car.

9699 is 1960 colour, Morning Grey ( bloody hard to read the numbers on the colour chart 'cos there so small so maybe someone else may have to confirm this one)

827 is Mephisto Red.

Well, so much for a happy tale, I think we can close this book !!

A brief rundown.
I havent been lucky enough to buy my first Classic yet.
Been looking for what seems years.

So can you imagine my Suprise, and excitment, when browsing the forum the other night, I mention to my wife, "This ole Van looks cool"
She saunters over, looks over my shoulder and says "Oh its ok",,,,,,,????

Then cool as could be says, "are you interested in something like that?"
Mmmm, says I !!
Well knock me down with a Feather, she replys " I think Anna, has one like that in her shed" !!!!!!!!!!

What the ????????

Anna is a friend of ours, divorced, one child, and ,,,,,,you wont believe this, she lives literally 200 meters walk from my work !!!

I wonder over for a look the next day, and behold, in her shed tucked away in the corner is a FB Van,,,,,,,,,,,,go figure, I never evr thought there was anything in the shed ??
Well the excitement levels went up, all seemed retreivable, panels a little out of shape, but no worse than some I've seen on here!!
No Donk or G/Box, but those things can be sourced.

Cut a long story short (only because it doesnt end hapily ever after, lol )

It turns out, its been there for 10 -12 years, its her younger brother, uh oh,,,,,,,,,,,,,
But,,,she wants it gone, take it she says,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Contact him that night and,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Yup,,,,, he's not selling it, gonna do it up some day (but I bet he doesnt) I can tell, he's not the type ????

Oh well, all stories dont always end up happy huh ??

sounds like the dudes me and craig aproched with a stack of old cars ,xp ek fb prefects hr and more,, oh where gonna do them up one day,,,,,,,not,,,,,,,,,,,theve been there for ten years ive lived here rusting ,,,,,,,,,,,these jerk offs realy give me the ???? ,, they are idiots,, if they wanted to presurve the classics theyed spray em with oil and stick em in a shed for that one day instead they rust till they arnt worth the trouble
