trim code

Post by Lucy Blue »

I have a much used Holden Parts Manual "The First 20 Production Years" that has the information in it, some of the pages are missing you are lucky that the page you wanted was there.

I don't know what the trim looks like sorry

The paint colour and trim list that is available on the net is incomplete in the area of the trim.

Cheers

Hi Lucy Blue,

Would I be able to get the additional trim pages you have so I can update the incomplete list?

trim pages

Post by Lucy Blue »

If you would PM me a snail mail address, I will photocopy what remains of the pages and send them to you :)

Unfortunately the book does not tell me where the models start so the pages that I send which are incomplete as they are torn will be from 1948 to 1967.

cheers

Hi fbbad.

The last part of the 'Trim' number is for the interior trim. The 1st part of the number is the exterior part scheme.

You exterior number is 699, I haven't got this number in my lists, could you quote me your paint number(s) of the car's Body ID Plate.

I have finally completed my list for all FX to HR & many later ones as well. If anyone needs to find out what their interior trim number means, post your numbers, I will be glad to give you that info. I still need a lot more of the 1st part of the trim code though, I'm trying to complete the exterior trim codes. Could people post the trim & paint numbers of their cars, please.
