this has been a PITA for me also,
i have just bought a universal one of ebay for cheap so will let you know how it goes...

looks like one from the states is the go if this is the kind of coin that is needed to replace one

bit more reasonable , a little bit of work and it should be a good thing.
Mez, if you could measure up the one you bought and send me the details, I will see how close it is to this one and we may have an answer to the fuel sender blues !

hey blacky missed that one on ebay i saw one on there
for like $270
my sender is in and fully working in the end i had
to file out 3 holes a little(tho my tank had been retaped to
larger bolts)
and i just bent the arm a little so when the gauge shows
empty i still got a bit in the tank
i filled the tank up slowly and watched the gauge and it was spot on
