I agree very very nice, Ive just started an EJ ute but will have a hot red. Great to see pics like this to give me some inspiration.

he's also just bought an EH wagon, nearly matches my EK it's pretty much the same colour and has a flash kit, it'll be getting injected 5L turbo 700 aswell

Austmod, Your looking at to many flames in the dark. There's nothing wrong with that carpet. Its good to see he uses his ute, thats why it dirty and so it should be.
There's nothing as Sweet as a EK V8

hey ratbox, i'm going to be doing similar (5l and t700) in an eh for the missus project and i was wondering what you can tell me about the engine fitting in etc .... engine/gearbox mounts, firewall mods ? trans tunnel ?

all really simple to put in sammy a little massaging on the firewall, if it's a manual floor you have to open it a little or fit a bigger tunnel, right side pipes near straight in and left side unmodified but you have to modify the inner subframe leg, it has front mounted rack
austmod as oldnek said it's just grass and the car is FILTHY DIRTY cause he does use it alot 45k's each way to work and prolly drives it atleast twice a week plus other stuff, he's out in the country like me so whenever we go to sydney for car stuff there's another 200k's each way

The guy that owns the ute, does he work for Blatch Smash?

Yes It is an extremely well done ute! Have seen it at a few shows now. Love the way he has done the sub frame.

thanks for the pics rb ,,you hang with cool dudes from what i see here ,,we had a eh ute ended up under a pile of dirt out the farm where it still rests today ,,had an fe to keep it company,ohh i feel sick now knowing what we did to em ,,when they conked out we buried em and got another for 50 bucks ,,dont know how many are out there but there was quite a few that were sacrificed to the hoon god :lol:
when they start building them like that again i will buy a new car of them

5L injected ... light early holden ..... empty load light weight in the back ...... Thats got to be a fun ride mate !!!

Looks great , engine bay is pretty empty too , nice !!
