That article is 29yrs old, the car could have had lots of owners between then and now.
I don't know of to many HD's with a HK dash & HR front.

Post by myblue62 »

nicks hd was built 17 years ago was silver then still the same paint as then. im shure the only thing thats been done since is the hr consol and the taco shifed from out og the dash next to the speedo. ill see if i can get him to find some old pics of it but as fare as i know its only been in to show and 1 mag one show was old skool this year and one when it was first built in cambell town. and im shure its allways had the chev in it from when he built it good to see its got some intrest though.

there's a picture on p117 in the latest Street Commodores magazine of that slammed rodeo being defected at Summernats.
So as this is presumably in the ACT, what's the story with defects obtained interstate?
I saw it being driven on Friday down south, if he/she gets pulled over by SA police, would they know about the ACT defect and could they do anything about it?

(entirely hypothetical question, for all I know they may have cleared the defect already)

OK, That clears that up then, So there must be two HD's with HR fronts & HK dashes getting around.
I had seen Dennis(6cyl version) getting around with its new owner many years ago,
It must be hibernating somewhere these days.
I assumed Nicks V8 version was Dennis old car updated.

Well Nick, If your reading this, Awesome Car Mate 8)
