Travelled the Mallee Highway via Tailem Bend and Cowangie, to meet up with the SA contingency. Obligatory shot of Larry thanks Elle.

Quite a bit of water on the road and the intermittent wipers were a big hit.

Ptooheys old and Chinese dinner at the RSL with the Beales, Montgomerys, Thompsons and old mate Pete who accompanied Elle and I in his Hiace, enroute Maitland and Maroochydore for the annual pilgrimage to the Alexandra Headland Malibu surfing classic. Entering a Coopers drought…..
