Re: Passenger Side Lower Front Guard Section
Pretty sure I have a new patch panel. Just need to check if its right or left.

Re: Passenger Side Lower Front Guard Section
Unfortunately the full patch I have is for drivers side. I do have a passenger side as per photo but from the looks of your photo you would have to add a bit to it.

Look forward to seeing you put it together Neil. Next best thing to doing similar myself. Left guards have to be the most vulnerable panel on just about any car, but particularly these rust prone vehicles.

Hi Brett
Thanks for looking but I actually have the rust repair piece bit it is not bog enough to cover what I need but as I said thanks for looking anyway.
Clay really don't know what I'm going to do if I can't get the piece may have to do as Brett suggested and do a two piece repair don't like the idea of having to do so much welding on that section of the guard but I don't think I have a choice

You'll be right Neil. Actually a relatively easy bit to play with. I don't know if it's Thompsons, but someone makes/made repair patches that cover that whole area. Unfortunately the one that is the right size that I have left over is a drivers side. Your side one went into the yute.

I plug welded when I fix mine in the ute. Paint cracked along the seam after.
Just go as slow as you possibly can. Compressed air on it plenty of it. Can you fabricate missing bit with sheet?

Re: Passenger Side Lower Front Guard Section
Thanks guys for the options.
Clay I could maybe fabricate something the problem that I see is that whoever had the guard just cut straight across and the folded piece (that bolts to the A pillar) is totally gone and so is the doubler fold that runs over the wheel arch.
I'm a long way from needing it but trying to get these things repaired so that when it is ready to go for paint it is all done.
Has anybody got a bit of the top section and the strength pieces I'm referring too by chance
