Cracked the trifecta today, did a bit on the 2 door, the ute and this old slappa - in that order
The drivers door is a right arsehole to close , you have to slam the crap out of it to get it to latch and after me old mate Johnny had a look at it he suggested I simply change the hinge out to see how it goes then.

Had a wander up the back, found a good hinge with both clips still attached so swapped it out

Went to bolt the door back up and realised I picked up a passenger side top hinge ImageImage so I gave up for the day and went and got on the swill with my neighbour ImageImage
Tomorrow job …….

The rule about simple jobs turning into big ones is 99% accurate

The captive plate that the bolts screw into decided to part company- the only way to get it back in is to cut the friggin door open to access the tabs that hold it in - had to cut open an old rusty door to figure it out

All sorted - shuts much better now - I even took some of those little spring steel retainer plates and fitted them up - don’t have any rivets so tapped the holes and screwed them on then ground the heads down so they would fit in the pocket ImageImage
Ended up swapping both out - the top one was obviously bent so figured may as well just do both
