Ute is cheaper to run than the Land Cruiser lately, of it is a good excuse, so took it surfing. 🏄‍♂️
You took it surfing ? I thought it would be easier to use a surfboard ?????
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Didn't Reg Mombassa do a T-shirt design to that effect -
the amphibious EK Holden, catching a wave?

Thanks Harv 😎😎
I had a really cool tee I got for subscribing to some wax head mag years ago. In the Mad comic so cal style with a raging FB with flames and skids and booze drugs gambling hurtling along. I loved it. Mother not so much. Went missing years ago and I’m still suspicious.

Scot was talking about fitting SUs so I thought I would re-post the photos of what I did here.Image

Ground back the seam, as well as creating a slight recess, no more than 30mm. I have the choke cable hooked up to the rear carb and it is the trickiest part of the installation. I tend to attach it before I bolt the manifold on. Anything to do with accessing the rear carb is a bit tricky, but well worth it. I haven’t touched the carbs in ages and they run fine.

Thanks for the pics Clay, another great reference. My slightly less desired asymetrical collection will require a little more encouragement to fit. Don't have a good final shot of the restored units but this was my bench test with the old headers

You’ve got the right manifold but you’d be better with all forward facing fuel bowls, or even better the later HIF 6 with integrated bowls. Still, if you have to work with what you have I get that.
