So the car has been in the panel shop for over 8 months now, worked when the panelbeater can fit it in between other jobs. This has worked for me as time has been in short supply, but since its been there it has allowed me to move onto other jobs that need to be addressed

Its also given me time to ponder the task of trying to get it all back together, which has led to an even bigger "list of things to do and buy". More to come on that soon, along with heaps of "WTF do i do now" questions...

Thanks all,

melly

Well you have kept that quiet Melly ! They Bali seat covers mate ? How hard were they to fit ? Gazza is looking for something similar for the wagon he just bought.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Thanks Clay… Been trying Blacky, doing stuff in th background when I can find some time. Yeh they’re Bali brand, workmanship and materials are pretty good. Have had some issues with fitment, but the trimmer reckons not too bad. Scored thru old mate at the panel shop- he is actually off to Bali tomorro and I asked is he was happy to help out mates, he said no worries if you want to let Gaz know

Actually speaking of trim… would anyone happen to hav some EK front door armrests or know where I could buy some. Found a couple on eBay, don’t seem to be any aftermarket ones? The Aussie door cards I got are made for them. Any in EKmart by chance?

I dont think there are a good pair Melly, I know I took one off the other day for a bloke and it was rusty along the bottom so he didn't want it

I’ve got this pair, if you want them. The door trims have had a hard life, so no loss stripping them. They will need recovering, but assumed you’d do that anyway to match.

If you want them, PM me a name and address and I’ll get them into the post tomorrow, gratis.
