It fell into lots of bits today Neil -

Brodie offered to weld the dodgy dolly under the front half as it’s going off to visit a fabricator for a bit - his welding is terrible, he insists it’s terrible because I was winding the wire speed up and down while he was doing it but I think that’s a classic case of a poor tradesman blaming his tools ImageImageImageImage
This bit is off to the scrappies on TuesdayImage

They are not rusty believe it or not - they are going to be used as a template to hopefully make reproduction ones

Damn this thing was hard work - every bolt and screw siezed, some of the doors wouldn’t open etc
Motor and box came out easy, had the car chained to the trailer and just skull dragged the bastard out ImageImage
Image
Image
Getting the front end out took some doing, the bolt heads were totally rusted, managed to get 3 of the nuts off but had to cut part of the subframe off to get the last one out after it siezed and started spinning with about 3 threads left to come off Image
Ready for scrap on Tuesday- there is still a couple of good bits on it but I am sick of the sight of it Image

If you can salvage the upper tailgate hinges, I would appreciate it.
There may be a another ute that needs internal hinges as I have done on Ammo's ute.
Cheers,
Roger

FE and FC wagons and vans share the same upper hinge assemblies (7411311). FB and EK wagon and vans are bespoke (7412335 and 7413595 respectively).
