Not the point, Blacky. GPS or GNSS, assuming use of Beidou, Glasnoss etc. as well as the original US military constellation, is as accurate as you can get, as long as you can see four satellites or more. Probably even work in tunnels now using “pseudo-lites”. It gives me confidence when I set the cruise and then go through a trap.

i've had 3 different GPS speedos reading 3 different speeds (2 apps on phone and 2 different actual GPS speedos) and all 3 also different to the speedo in the car, varied by 7kmh between the 4 and none worked in a long tunnel

Being a surveyor I have access to high level Global Navigation Satellite System receivers, 0.1kmh precision, which I have compared to a Speedo app, and google maps, both on the same apple phone. They all agreed to the kilometre per hour.
i've been "pinged" once in the last 10 years that was by an arsewipe in SA i knew i was speeding but doing a speed i have had absolutely no problems doing in NSW

Bit the bullet and bought $100 special from ebay. Arrived today. 110mm size fits straight in the hole and clamps up perfectly. Dont know if it goes ok, but certainly installs easily.

I reckon once its dialled in it will not make 1/3 of what Grosey's orange EK ute makes .........
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

There is a 140km option but also with 8000 rpm tacho and 80mm diameter which is too small.
Quite happy to be able to read to 4000rpm at halfway point, which is common enough on my runs. Have been operating without a tacho for 12 months and will enjoy having that little one not taking up extra space.
