Repco green glycol @50%. Makes a mess and lets me know when I have a leak. The 20L drums are good for storing sump oil.

Bought some aftermarket Suzuki “blue” coolant a few months back to top off The Little One’s Jimny radiator. Damn near had to sell a kidney for a litre.

Cheers,
Harv

Awesome young Joe, good to see you still have the old girl running and in your possesion.

Not only the radiator but the heater cores also suffer from big PSI, 7 pound recovery cap with a overflow will fix it.

I use green glycol mix which has anti freeze built in as well.

Hi Joe,
I’ve been running an overflow for ever, Tectalloy concentrate with rainwater or demineralised. No idea what pressure cap.

I spotted the blue stuff on the wall at Repco yesterday, pricey indeed. Didn’t have time to read the ingredients, but I’m assuming it’s sprinkled with gold dust.

(I stuck to the green concentrate) Thanks Harv

Vanity has always kept me from polluting my engine bays with non factory/late model add-ons.

But then the Ute has an HEI controller on the firewall… and H4 headlights and an alternator too… it’s basically a retromod car let’s face it
