Looking good blacky,

I ended up using polyurethane bushes on the front spring eyes, the original kit from McDonald bros used aluminium, just too noisy on the street.

I haven't given my car a run at the drags yet but early indications show zero wheel hop and good grip for both wheels.

It will be fun to watch this thing going flat out !

Mounted them up today, went together surprisingly easy, the old bushes came out with a light smack with the hammer and a bit of rubber grease and some never sieze the new ones went straight in Image

Unfortunately the machinist made the studs a bit short- they were meant to be 27mm long but he made them 20mm - need to buy some thin nyloc nuts tomorrow . Diff/shock mounts back in -

Got the bars back today, top of the Wazza heavy wall chrome moly - should be strong enough to get it into the sixes according to Brodie ImageImage

2 steps forward- one step back ……

Got most of the way through getting this thing tuned , then the alternator shit the bed
Had it running for about 4 hours all up so the overheating drama seems to be behind us

Have a few issues to overcome-
- Coolant temp and inlet air temp sensors are not really compatible with the computer
- Boost gauge chucked in the towel - will try another sensor
- Alternator
- Tacho not working

Sounds nice and crisp when it’s behaving ImageImage

Coolio 8)

Did you get a chance to do any pulls on the rolling road, or mostly tuning?
How many pissies did the blower put out at noise?

Cheers,

All done in the shed at home thus far Harv, haven't had it under any load as yet, he is playing around with fuel maps and timing to get it as close as possible before hiring the dyno - and the boost gauge is reading 35psi all the time so guessing that isn't accurate .....

If I can find you a pulley small enough, it may read 35psi.

You could have the worlds most powerful FB... for about 0.4 seconds.

I said something similar to the tuner - I am happy with 35lb of boost seeing as the crank is still in it

Hi Blacky I thought that the Eaton M90 only pout out about 6 psi standard on the L67 (my Monaro) and the smallest pulley gets you to about 18 psi, 35 psi sounds like an awful amount of boost then :eh: :econfused:
