Manual and Auto front Subframes are they Different???

Manual and Auto front Subframes are they Different???

Just a quick question,
are the front subframes (the ones the front end and panels hang off) the same between Auto and Manual bodied cars? I have always thought they are the same, but a mate of mine told me they are different, so help us to settle a disagreement???
