Bit more , today was mainly about console building- fiddly work and timber and I don’t get along all that well …..

JUST fits with the seat in - might keep an eye out for another BT-50 seat like the one in the ute

Image

Made a steel bracket to bolt it in using nutserts into the frame around the gearstick
Image

Then made all the rest of the bits - brackets to hold the outer bits on etc gobble up lots of time , routed the edges to soften it up , need to get some material tomorrow not sure what yet

Image

Then folded up the metal for the wire hiding bizzo under the glovebox and called it a day

Another step closer , finished off the cable tidy and got a little bit carried away- cut it to length, trimmed the ends up then marked these holes

To fit these in -

Looks great Blacky.
I understand your floor hump is different to mine for the console just means that I would need to allow for it, the basic shape of the console etc. is what I'm chasing.

Easy done mate I will make a cardboard template of the side of it for ya  this is a dry run for the 2 door - I will be making a full length console for that

Thanks mate and don't forget the bits from Clay on Sunday I'll make sure I get them out of the box.

I'm thinking of running buckets in "The Referend" so I think the same about full length console maybe or at least half length, got to have cup holders right?
