ya gotta ring around and get the right person

i've never had to do any pissy requirements including the recent report on the Austin which has a HT/HG dual circuit master under the floor, though i've never understood some of the requirements a car should only have to come up to the standards of the car the running gear is out of, i doubt i'll ever engineer another car as they keep moving the goal posts, and there's currently a thing going round on facebook where NSW cars that have been sighted at car shows, summernats and social media are being called up for inspections with heavy fines and or registration cancelations if you don't show up, but i'm guessing it's the wild cars with half the engine out the bonnet and big wheel tubs which are the cars being targeted

Same old story Mick,
The historic/conditional rego has in the past has been fudged, Transport NSW is getting complaints from fellow car owners questioning some registration.
I am the club plate registrar for my group N car club and I follow the rules by the book.
It is very alarming to see a blown engine car on historic rego because it usually means no engineering has been undertake, I guess it goes down the line of non consistency once again.
It still intrigues me that in todays world of litigation that not only the owner of the vehicle would take the risk but the person handing out the rego would also take the risk.
Anyway, 4th May for my hopefully last test and inspection !!!!!!
Keep you all posted.
