Thanks Dave. I'll drop her round once we are allowed to mingle again. Then you'll be able to see the bits that I keep out of the photos🤭.

Nice work mate, the first drive with plates screwed on ALMOST causes you to forget all the heartache pain and money invested to get to this point
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Thanks Greg, I think that is my favourite photo. Everything looks pretty smick.

No regrets Blacky. A few fixes to do, a few drives around to run her in and deliver on promises to friends, then she's on the market. Need to get the space back for ute work.

A (yellow) rose between two thorns - been a joy watching this come together. Thanks for all the pictures of the journey.

Yes Clay, the overwhelming evidence (supplied mainly by you) is that SA is pretty relaxed about car rego compared to NSW, whose attitude is more about how can we stop you rather than get you going. If I couldn't provide a receipt the next thing would have been a stat dec. Unfortunately I still had contact details for the bloke who I bought her off, so had to make a bit of an effort.

WA isn't far behind, when i built my 64 Chev which I bought from a bloke at the Marvel Loch pub , they wanted areceipt, when I told them i couldn't get one because I had no idea who he was they said no problem just fill out this stat dec, which I did. She took it from me and said " no problem we will be in touch in 3-4 weeks and if its all sweet you will get your plates " - I took the stat dec from her, tore it up and said " I will be right back " , went to a nearby shop and bought a notepad and pen , wrote myself a receipt and took it back in and they registered it .....
