I can’t wait to see it in the flesh Greg.

If they aren’t chromies, magnums or hustlers I’m not interested.

The Creek opens again for Wednesday nights in 10 days time. Gotta be double vaxxed though, until December 1st.

Would love to see the sedan run in, and lined up against the wagon.

Maybe early next year?

Cheers,

Buffing Buffing Buffing.

Not much to do now, just need the time !

New wheels, front still sits up a touch, hopefully springs sag a bit once it hits the road.

Looking good Greg. Day to day life gets in the way. Love the wheels. They suit well. Look a bit like rockets or Tasmans.

This wheels look much better mate, I was not a fan of the ones you had on it previously- but it’s not my car so I kept my opinions to myself

That's ok Blacky I don't mind the criticism, and to be honest I was never happy with the wheels I had as well.
Its funny but the prostars were 14 inch and looked to small so these new wheels are rocket fuels and are 15 inch and look a bit better.

Wheel choice can be as bad as picking a colour for paint it can do your head in !!!!

Hi Clay,

Original scratch plate but repro handles.

I'm not sure what the original scratch plates are made from or how they were processed but I went to repair a small dent in the front passenger plate and when I filed the frosted bit it looks like they may be brass plate ?
The frosted part I can't work out how its been done and the shinny bit has to be chrome.
I will get a photo of it this afternoon.

They outsold cause FBs had stirred up the passion and of course they were discounted cause they were a bit plainer....
Photo of the real thing, with the handles and striker plates EK copied.

AFAIK, the plates are chrome plated stamped brass plate. Figure either the stamping mould was textured in the centre, or they were masked and blasted before chroming. The repros are stamped stainless plate.
