Going to have a go at making the sealing rubber tomorrow as a start- that should be funny. Not sure if the lip against the body and tail light base goes up or down at this stage.

Re: Wilma FB project
Thanks Clay, but it will be on the car by then.
I'll go and have a look at the utes tomorrow. I just wasn't thinking there was a similarity between the two body types. Can't find a picture in the manual or the parts catalogue, which is not helpful.

Thanks Blacky. That was on the car when I got it but I can't trust that. EK front over riders etc.

Made my own dust deflector rubber and bracket today. Nice change from frustrating trim stuff.

Re: Wilma FB project
The final product. May have to trim it, but I think it will work. Bracket made from Rares boot channel rust repair section cut down. Rubber from Clarkes: 2 sections glued at right angles. Curved light pieces from Better Auto Rubbers( they were also 2 glued sections). Trim press-in clips for light sections, stainless screws for straight bracket section.
Not sure yet if I'll glue up the overlaps or not. I will fill small gaps in each inner corner.

Re: Wilma FB project
Bumper finally back on today. Rubber seal made it an easy job as it just sat on the rubber while I was positioning the bar for bolts. Still have to sort out quarter panel bolts, but think bonnet bump stop rubbers might work OK.
Rubber seal set-up worked really well, once I cut a slit for each bumper iron thingy. The flaps fold up hard against the bumper and should seal well. Painted inside of bumper and bolts with zinc paint. Next time I'm crawling around under the car I'll take a snap.
This photo will test who's awake....

I have committed far worse sins. For the last decade, my FB sedan has sported wagon rear centre sections on the front bar.
If I was a club member, I suspect I could be court-martialled, or at least locked in irons for a week

Zzzzzzzzz, what??
Nice bum!
Bonnet bump stops won’t cut it by any means Brett. Approximately 20mm thick and 40mm diameter.
