Thanks Tim. Yeah I couldn't believe it when I saw the horn contacts with 'buy it now' option. I must just have opened the page as they were posted. Sometimes you're lucky

. Just to clarify, the rubber route over the bottom hinge: just a straight line between the channels before and after the hinge?

Re: Wilma FB project
Clay is right,
The original rubbers were different profile and glued over the hinge in that area only, the new rubbers don't have the special flat bits as per the original so they just glue on and will be squashed flat over time.

Re: Wilma FB project
Rubber route over the bottom hinge: definitely not straight-line between the channels above and below. You want to make the rubber turn inboard on leaving the channel above the hinge, so it sits on top of the screw heads.
Both Scott's photo and your "before" photo show the correct lay of the rubber.

Re: Wilma FB project
Thanks for info everyone
. I can now attest that you can install a rear outer rubber door seal without taking the door off

. Got door clamped shut for a few days now to settle it all down after spraying some Rares magic rubber stuff. It's nice and warm today so back to front seat rails and seat trim prep and painting. Special rubber fitting tool in photo.

Hi Stephen. No trouble there: that ones from my shed drawer
. If it was one of the 'proper' ones I would be running still.

Phew.......
PS: I remember getting in trouble as a kid when I used the ends of Mum's soup spoons as tyre levers on my push bike.

Doesn’t take long for my kitchen utensils to all end up in the garage. To the point my wife bought a cutlery set from Kmart and put it in my tool chest

It would not be an Aussie kitchen unless some of the dinner knives had bent ends from being used as screwdrivers or prise bars

Question without notice
. Are ute and sedan sunvisors the same?

Re: Wilma FB project
I believe the centre roof brackets have a slightly different contour, however can be massaged to work fine. Van is a different story. The actual visor and side mounts are all the same.

Update on progress: not much
. Was hoping to finish spraying outside surface of bonnet yesterday but had to strip the lot and start again. I had put some 2pack primer on the top when I picked up this NOS bonnet 12 months ago. Discovered yesterday that 1k and 2k definitely are not
friends. Paint stripper and re-primed yesterday for another go....
Thank you Clay. Somedays it seems like it's just us having a chat
