Thanks guys,

The horns are plastic crap so not entirely worried about decay !

The stone tray and bumper will protect them a fair bit.

OK Guys,

So after a knee operation (torn Meniscus) and 6 weeks down back into it !!

I sometimes wonder if I'll ever get this finished ????

So I took it easy on my legs for the last 2 weeks and sat down literary and prepped all my hanging panels, don't ask me how many times Ive primed and rubbed cause its all a blur !!!!!!

Colour on some bits tomorrow if all goes well.

Yes. Dont want to think about doors and guards but at least I've no back doors to worry about. Good luck getting colour on.

No Mate cowl and stone tray are done !!!

I really like that colour. You've done well under that bonnet... all the nooks and crannies makes them a nightmare to cover without runs or waves.

Cheers,

Couldn't fit the original spring on the bonnet hinges so I lashed out and got some up to date gas strut hinges.

Gives me heaps more clearance for a bigger booster if the need should arise.

I had to relieve the water channel to fit them but that's ok I needed to touch up the paint in this area anyway.

Very interesting. They look well put together. They would be lighter than originals by the look.

Started some rubbing back and buffing, got a couple of spots you can hardly see that I will leave until I see how the rest of the car turns out. Its addictive and I have become obsessed to have everything perfect !!

Needs a fine polish to get the swirls out, more time to spend later on.

Two guards and 3 doors to go !!!!!!
