Yeah I know what you mean - feel like wrapping a few mattresses around it before going for a drive to be 100% sure it doesn't meet the same fate - I was driving it around with the booster in before we pulled it apart - it doesn't do hand stands but it does pull up - helps being a ute and not too heavy as well.

Definitely will mate - will do the big reveal for all to see - it will be at the nationals as well and hopefully have any bugs sorted out by then.

Was worried with the front windscreen rubber issues but looks ten times better with the Better Auto Rubbers one in.

Getting there - electrics all done for the most part - all panels going on this week - all glass and mechanicals in - dash being resembled this week - all rubbers done - motor back in and plumbed up ready for juice and a spark- found the issue with the carbs - the pumps were not functioning as they should so hopefully that fixes the hesitance it had under right boot before we pulled apart - have also plumbed fuel using hard lines instead of rubber to tidy up a bit more than anything but might help delivery pressures.
I'd add more pics but it's a Pita now as I have to resize every pic before i can add it from my iPhone - bloody annoying.

The ute looks really neat, even with the bits and pieces still to go back on.

Cheers,

Yeah going to try it with the red stockiest with correct hubcaps - Essentially it will be stock all over with hints of red throughout to match back with the original interior trim

ha ha ha - I'd get tarred and feathered by the grey motor club - it does have some red stuff on it though.
