So as usual just no time for the car but I have done some things, last couple of days after work I have finished up my steering column change.
I originally used two Torana unis but have wondered about road shock considering the UC steering rack is solid mounted.
So after some research and head scratching I came up with this combo.

Borgeson Stainless vibration uni.

I machined up a bearing stopper, pressed that into the column, machined the steering shaft to suit the Double D uni and bearing, then slid that inside the shaft and locked it in position at the steering wheel end (circlip) I planned to cut the excess off the column tube but I figure this may protect the rubber part of the joint from heat.
Anyway a bit more done and I have also prepped 3 doors and the boot for paint. All my chrome is being done and I should have that back soon.

Regards Greg

That looks a lot neater than the Torrie rag joints.
