Hi Guys.

AFAIK all FE to HR rear axle assemblies are around the same length (width).

HR's wider track was due to a change in offset of the wheel rims & this was for sedans & wagons only. HR utes & vans got HD rims with the reduced track dimension.

The rims with the reduced offset (wider track) are easily identified by the small 1/8" hole in one of the ridges between the wheel nut holes.

Got 13s and 14s to choose from. Might turn it into a D/MP dragster and call it 'standard issues'

I’m in two minds about the painted indicator lights. The only thing chrome will be the air, speedo and horn rings...

As I’m sure you know they would have been chrome from factory. But then indicators were an option up on Standard FB in any case. It’s a nice subtle custom touch I say.

Neck minute you’ll be chasing some mild steel window trims, although can you get the original style rear garnish delete from Rare Spares now? When I did my sedan we painted stainless ones front and rear. Seemed to work until the front window had to come out. Then it peeled.
