Sound Deadener

Post by camstuart52 »

Howdy

So I'm chasing some ideas, opinions or fors and against the use of sound Deadener prior to putting my carpet down. Also obviously dynamat gets good reviews but is there a cheaper alternative which will work effectively? this isn't a show car so don't need a brand name product.

I'm going to treat the floor with POR 15 I'd say prior to apply anything as I'm assuming this is the best option.

Any help is appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers

There is an Aussie equivalent to por15 but I can't remember the name at the moment and its around quarter of the price from memory.

What brand etc is that sound matting and where did you source it? I'm assuming it's less expensive than dynamat?
