Interior Light Switch

Howdy,
I'm putting an LED in as my interior light which works a treat. However, the switch that makes up part of the moulding is broken - springs have disappeared and the actual lever which the earth was connected to has snapped off. I'm trying to work out a way of keeping the same style switch, but with the LED. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

If it's too hard to fix the original fitting, can anyone recommend a similar style light fitting that I might be able to source?

Buy a second hand standard fitting and use that mate .......plenty of them around ...Fingers

Thanks Fingers. Any suggestions as to where? I've looked on ebay and Rare Spares, etc. but struggling to find one.

Another issue with the interior light. I've attached the new power cable to the old one but it won't pull through. I'm worried if I take off the chrome strip that holds the headlining (to work out what the cabling is stuck on), I'll stuff up the headlining. Any suggestions?

Taking the chrome strip off wont bugger up your headlining

I used an led and cut and made my own to fit into the space. I used a Perspex backing so it didn't earth out.
Otherwise go to a wreckers and get one that you like the look of.
As Blacky said the lining will be fine.
It should separate from the light fitting with just a little help.
Unless it is already falling apart.

Next issue!! I need to run a wire from the interior light and back down the pillar.
